Information Sought of missing Rawtenstall Soldier

Mr. and Mrs. Cuff of 249 Bacup Road, Cloughfold, are anxiuos to ascertain the fate or whereabouts of their son Private W. Cuff who as been missing since the 22nd of March last. Pte. Cuff was in A. Coy. of the 2nd South Lancashire Regiment and at the time he was missed was in the trenches in the neighbourhood of Langnicourt, in France. He may have been taken prisoner.
If any former comrade in France or elsewhere can give any information as to what happened to Pte. Cuff, it will be most gratefully received by his parents at the above address.
